Tips When Buying Vintage Clothes

Consider the quality of the product: before the 1960s the quality was excellent, then it may be hard to find something so well made. Before 1920 clothing is probably not well preserved.

Knowing well what it is you are looking for and how much it can cost.

Check that the item is in good condition: check if it is well cut, if there are no insect damage, if the color or pattern is in good condition, if the embroidery, combs and sequins are complete. Also if it does not have a bad smell, stains, and logically you should try the piece. Keep in mind that the sizing has changed over the years.

Mix the old with the new: do not dress up in vintage clothes.
